35 Weeks

5 weeks left! We can't believe I am in my 35th week and we are in the home stretch! All is going well and overall still feeling good. I have my 36 week check tomorrow and then start going to the doctor each week until baby pi gets here.

Brian and I finished putting all of the clothes and baby gifts away over the weekend and the nursery is 90% done. We just need to add new curtains, hang a few pics, and hopefully the chair will get here soon! I have posted a few sneak pics below of the crib and bedding and will post pics of the nursery once we are done.

32 Weeks

We had our 32 week check-up and ultrasound a week or so back and all went well. I was a little nervous to see how big the baby was at this point, considering the ridiculously large size Brian was when he was born (12 pounds!!!). The baby looked great, is in the right position, and is measuring right around the 60 percentile mark. The ultrasound tech said he is a little over 4 pounds and looks healthy! She took a few 3-D pics which I have posted below. It is amazing how distinct his features are and Brian and I could definitely see each other in his face.



My check-up went well too. My blood pressure was a little high, but I expected that with all the stress that has been happening at work. In total I have gained 19 pounds and am definitely starting to get uncomfortable. Overall, I still feel good with the normal uncomfortable pains you feel at this stage.

Brian and I are trying to finish up the nursery and put all of the baby gifts away. My goal is to have the nursery done by end of July. :) Hopefully I stick to that!

31 weeks

It has been a few weeks since my last post and my apologies for the delay. We have been busy busy! :)

A few weekends ago I hit 31 weeks and also had my Illinois baby shower! The entire weekend was a blast with a visit from my fave people Beth and Malin and Beth's mom Kathy! It was a fast weekend but we enjoyed our visit and I was also spoiled with a visit from my mom too!

The baby shower was beautiful and despite the heat everyone had a good time. I have posted a few pics below of the cake and decorations and also my 31 week photo with special guests Malin and Beth!
